Chromalox Thermwire Heat Trace

Thermwire cable by Chromalox provides reliable freeze protection of roofs, gutters and professionally installed water piping as well as crankcase preheating. Because Thermwire is self-regulating, it automatically adjusts to the appropriate heat output as ambient temperature changes, making it both energy efficient and cost effective. Likewise, Thermwire products are easily installed. Simply trace the pipes or roof and gutter and energize the cable. From that point on, Thermwire will rapidly respond to provide more heat on the coldest nights, and less heat on warmer days. Models are now available with attached cord and plug for quick and easy installation.
